December 2016 Presidents Letter

Hello MOMS Club® of Uwchlan Hills PA,

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Sorry for the delayed letter this month, the craziness from the holidays seems to have carried over into the New Year, yeah! But that said January is looking like a pretty low key month for the club. I just sent out a Facebook poll for the next Morning Coffee at Chick-fil-A, so please let me know what date works for you. I will also be sending out a Facebook poll for the February Morning Coffee dates and locations along with some ideas for group outings. I want to get more outings on the books for 2017 which seaways beautifully into my ongoing request for an Activity Chair. If anyone is interested PLEASE let me knowJ.

November 2016 Presidents Letter

Hello MOMS Club® of Uwchlan Hills PA,

I hope you all had a wonderful time with the kiddos Trick-or-Treating and are gearing up for some fun Holidays, and I thought September flew by, October was a blur!

October’s morning coffee was at Laura Hartman’s house, thank you again for hosting! We had some great play dates including the one Parker and I crashed today at Bounce U – super fun! Last call for membership renewal; please send your membership dues to CH by Friday, November 11^th!! The Facebook Group will be updated and the roster will be sent out by November 18^th.

We had a great time at our October MNO at the Pour House as well as the Trunk or Treat, thank you JB and LD and the Party Planning Committee: DD’A, SG, BM!! I am trying to get a Downingtown Playdium group play date together and it appears that Wednesday, December 7^th is in the lead for date of choice for the majority but take a second and cast your vote on Facebook.  

We are also still looking to fill the Activity and Welcoming Committee seats so if you are interested PLEASE let me know. Thanks in advance!

October 2016 Presidents Letter

Hello MOMS Club® of Uwchlan Hills PA,

It appears that fall has finally arrived, yeah! Cooler temperatures, apples, pumpkins and all things autumn – love it! Our areas got some wonderful activities to which I’m hoping to get some on the group calendar. Which leads right into soliciting volunteers for our Activity Committee – anyone, anyone?? Please let me know if you are interested in taking on this very fun role!

We had a nice morning coffee this month at CH’s house, thank you for hosting! Please remember to send her your dues! The roster and Facebook group will be updated in the next few days!! At coffee we talked about how we wouldn’t add any new members to the Facebook group until they have paid those dues for security reasons. I am still working on getting our website up and running so keep you all posted on that one if and when there is news.

I want to give a big shout out to the three new moms in the club: EK, SL and AB! Welcome and happy to have you here!

We had a great time at our September MNO. We got in on some of the fun that the kiddos have been having at the Urban Air Trampoline Park followed by drinks and quizzo at PJ Wheelahans on the 28^th! Thanks LD and JB for organizing. The Jumperoo play date at Trampoline Park where LD, KF and I attended was great too!

As for the club happenings, LH welcomed a new baby boy to which we made some yummy meals their family. Both the Class of 2018 and the Class of 2021 had play group meet ups and AP hosted a grand opening complete with ribbon cutting at her Free Library which was wonderful. Feel free to stop by and check out a book or two! The Trunk or Treat date has been set, thanks Party Committee! Our next Morning Coffee will be at LH’s house at 9:30am on Tuesday, October 11^th – thank you in advance for hosting LH!
